Biography
Born Aidan Lavelle, he used the names 'Mode', 'Ficta' and 'Vector13' in his early career to distinguish himself from his brother James Lavelle, of UNKLE fame. Went to Leeds College of Music and then Westminster University where he did a degree in Commercial music. As Mode, produced two critically acclaimed EPs for New Religion Recordings. This was followed by the track 'Rise', under the guise of Vector 13, which caused a stir on dancefloors across the globe, thanks to heavy support from Sasha, Hybrid and several others in the DJ fraternity. Started a record label called Algorhythm, and has done remixes for Gorillaz, Kirk Digeorgio and UNKLE.
