//GORILLAZ BIOGRAPHY//
Audio Interviews / Radio Appearances

(i) Actual live interviews: this involved the actual voice actors visiting the radio studio live and giving interviews to an interviewer who would pretend that the actual band were in the studio with them. This only happened on a few occasions: Gary Crowley's super tuesday on a London radio station was one of them. The voice actors also announced the Gorillaz tracks when the Gorillaz did a session on Steve Lamacq's show on BBC radio 1. 2D and Russel also made a live apperance on the London station XFM to play tracks of their choosing for an hour, introducing them live.
(ii) Responses from the Apex Tapes: 'The Apex Tapes' was a promotional interview release, (it is not uncommon even for 'real' bands to make such a release) and responses from this could be incorporated into radio programming as if the Gorillaz were present.
For details of who voice acted the Gorillaz, see the creator biography section.
