D-12

Biography
The rap group D-12 are: Eminem aka Marshall Mathers, Rufus Johnson, aka Peter S. Bizarre , Denaun Porter, aka Kon Artis, Ondre Moore, aka Swifty McVay, Von Carlisle , aka Kuniva , and DeShaun Holton, aka Proof. A rapper named Karnail Paul Pitts aka Bugz featured in the original line-up but he was shot dead before the group blew up, in 1998, and was replaced by Swifty. The group worked on some tracks in the days before member Eminem became world famous (they all had other rap projects on the go at the same time). After Eminem shot to fame he brought his 'crew' to worldwide attention in late 2000, when they joined him on his Marshall Mathers LP tour and appeared in the video to 'The Real Slim Shady'. A full length debut LP 'Devil's Night' followed in 2001. The crew dropped their second album in 2004, called 'D-12 World' and are an ever-present feature in the Eminem tour show. The five other members apart from Eminem have done several tours without Eminem, and it was whilst on such a tour of Europe that they collaborated with Gorillaz.
