Gorillaz music videos

Every major label act needs a supply of music videos to accompany their singles. The Gorillaz are no different. The obvious choice for the band was to have animated videos. These became the primary means by which young people, especially in the US, would get to know the band. As such they were extremely important for the band's character development - the action let fans learn more about the personalities of the band members. 'The kids' loved the exciting, funny clips as much as the critics at many award shows who would award the video for 'Clint Eastwood' glittering accolades.

Jamie Hewlett did the intital design for the first four videos, and collaborated with director Pete Candeland at Passion Pictures to realise his vision.
