Released in November 2002,, the Gorillaz first full lenghth DVD let viewers explore their studios in much the same way as the
website did, with interactive menus. Items could be selected, and this brought up various content from the DVD. The story behind the release of the DVD (the story was advertised in press releases and on the website) was that there were strange goings on at Kong Studios and the DVD let you go into the studios (as a policeman? Or possibly someone who had just strayed across the police line?) to investigate.
