Remi Kabaka

Role in the Gorillaz Project
Remi Kabaka is the voice actor for Russel. He performed as him on certain live dates, and in the Gorilla Bites, on radio appearances, etc.



Biography
Son of famous Nigerian percussionist of the same name, Remi Kabaka provides the voice for Gorillaz drummer Russel Hobbes. Heard about the auditions for the part of Russel whilst hanging out during the making of Damon Albarn's Mali Music album in 2000.
