19/2000 (Soulchild Remix)

The Soulchild Remix version of 19/2000 was the version that overwhelmingly got played on the radio throughout Europe. The remix sped up the song considerably, added a dance beat without letting the whole thing slip into a mire of cheese, and exploited the hook lines even more than the original. The result was an unqualified success, and to many people, improves on the original (although it has to be said it is trying to do a different thing - be dancy and instantly radio friendly). Features the majority of the vocals intact.
