//GORILLAZ SONGS//
All Alone
| It seems Gorillaz just couldn't find out what to make of this jawn(see 'November Has Come'). The whole song can be divided into three parts: 1. A fascinating beeping concert by Atari's army. Gorillaz were just ment to make music inspirated by 1980's video games; 2. Roots Manuva's rap. One of the artists that Gorillaz have had always wanted to work with. Senseless rap with a humorous centre; 3. Martina Topley-Birds vocals. Beautiful vocal contribution by Topley-Bird. Seems to deserve its own song. So, this song is just a very well put-together mix of three completely different parts? Basically, it is. Gorillaz should've combined part number 1 and 2, OR number 1 with number 3, not number 1,2 and 3. But overall it isn't that bad, it's just a hard track to listen to. |
