Baņana Baby

This track is a dub reworking of Tomorrow Comes Today that appeared on Laika Come Home. The title is a play on the fact that Maņana can mean 'Tomorrow' in Spanish, (which is a nod to the 'Tomorrow' part of the title of the original song) but also of course a banana (sounds like manana, see what they did there?) is a thing that (Space) monkeys like to eat. The song was the first that the Space Monkeyz remixed for Gorillaz. Damon was pleased with the result and apparently gave the go-ahead for a full album. The song originally appeared on the Tomorrow Comes Today single listed as 'Tomorrow Dub'. Tomorrow Dub and Baņana Baby are the same track. With melodica and piano to the fore, this track is many fans' favourite Gorillaz Versus Spacemonkeyz track.
