Don't Get Lost In Heaven

Not such a discrete song. The character of the song seems a bit like, the following song on the album, "Demon Days". Nevertheless, a great little song by Gorillaz featuring the London Community Gospel Choir. Furthermore it contains some foreign guitar-like instrument. Sorry, I don't know my foreign instruments by heart. This song can send you into some kind of trance when you concentrate on the song and its contents. The lyrics "[..] and someone dead" and "You'll make a big mistake" just provide me goosebumps. The song is build up a bit physiological and filisophical, down let negative events get you down.

Lyrics:

Got off a plane to the country side
I drove to the mountain and the hole in the ground
There was crack on the corner and someone dead,
and fire coming out of a Monkey's head

Don't get lost in heaven
They got locks on the gate
Don't go over the edge
You'll make a big mistake

Put me in a cab to suburbia
I just took a line but it wasn't with you
There was more of it there, when I got back home
But you'd left me, you don't know my soul
You're a ho girl, yeah, you're a hobo

Don't get lost in heaven
They got locks on the gate
Don't go over the edge
You'll make a big mistake

You'll make a big mistake
You'll make a big mistake
You'll make a big mistake
You'll make a big mistake
