Don Quixote's Christmas Bonanza

This tripped out track was contributed to Kevin and Bean's Christmas compilation for 2001. Kevin and Bean are DJs with California’s KROQ radio station, and put out a charity compilation each Christmas of various sessions / exclusive tracks donated by bands who get airplay on KROQ. The title is the most festive thing about the song, and we can assume that it was given this title specifically for this release. The album was only available in stores in the Southern California area, however many online retailers offered it nationally across the US, including amazon.com. The song is a mixture of monkey noises, spooky piano and the mantra 'Happy Radio'. Definitely towards a reggae sound. However the track is not one of the best the Gorillaz have put out and feels slightly unpolished and unfinished. It was probably an album offcut or hurriedly put together.
