Hip Albatross
| This track has a 'Damon and guitar and piano just jamming' feel. Slurred lyrics and the blurry, overheard movie soundtracks add to the tripped out feel. Quite successful at what it aims to do, and one to return to, thought not a classic. Contains spoken dialogue from the movies "Day Of The Dead" and "Dawn Of The Dead", and the lyrics also feature the line 'I was born a zombie by Mercury'. On first listen this can sound like 'I was born a zombie by Mercur' (as Damon's voice drops away on the last syllable). In the 'intro' to the old site, 2D wore a T-shirt that said 'I was born a zombie from Merkur'. |
