Kids With Guns (Quiet Village Remix)

An epic-length remix of Kids With Guns by the little-known dance outfit Quiet Village. Similar to the DFA Remix of DARE in its building structure. Damon's vocals are accompanied by only fairly quiet instrumentation at the beginning of the track, allowing the listener to hear them clearly. After the main vocal portion of the song, some interesting Neneh Cherry vocal work (buried in the mix in the original version) can be heard clearly. Promo records of this mix surfaced in mid-late 2006 on white label vinyl (a run of 1000 12" vinyls was later pressed and circulated in 2007. It is unknown if any of these promo releases were sanctioned by Gorillaz)
