O Green World

If a none-Gorillaz fan is wondering what dak.pop is, this is the track to get. Probably the weak-spot of the album, but nevertheless a great track. The fact, that it can be considered to be the low-point of the album says a lot about how great the album is. The vocals are quite weak, while the instrumental part is just great to listen to, while being a victim of a zombie-attack or something like that. The guitars tell you that it's still the same gorillaz, as in 2001 - all M1 A1 there. By the end, this one gets too boring.

O green world,
Don't desert me now
Bring me back to fallen town
Where someone is still alive

Icon soul
Something new in this
When no one needs to haunt me and I'm
Looking out to somewhere I've never been before
(been before...)

O green world,
You don't deserve me now
I'm made of you and you of me
But where are we?

On ourselves to lie
From the darkest stars I suppose you ('re)
Down when you're in fast
Does it seem so little to you?

I know you now I know you know me too
You know, me too
I hope sex and rust, lust into my self, only
That self only

That's far when you're in the far in the place you were
