Hey Dude was the band's fourth single, released in the UK on 26th August 1996 where it reached #2, famously only held off the top spot by the Spice Girls' hit 'Wannabe'. Like all the band's first 6 singles, it was reissued in the UK on 28th July 1997 with the same catalogue number as the first release. Hey Dude saw a Japanese release as a 5-track single, the band's second single release there, featuring Bsides selected from the UK releases of Tattva and Hey Dude. The first image above is the principal cover and was used on most formats worldwide (including KULACD4, KULA74 and KULAMC4 in the UK) whilst the second image shows the alternate cover, notably used on KULACD4K.
