Kula Shaker reformed in 2004. The Revenge Of The King EP was their first release after that, with a worldwide digital release through iTunes on 1st April 2006 that preceded the issuing of any physical formats. Subsequently 1000 10" vinyls were pressed and sold on the second leg of the band's UK tour of 2006 (which took place in May 2006) and later through just one mail-order website. Later, the EP was given a general release on CD in Japan with a bonus track. The EP received no physical release elsewhere. The cover on the left is that of the Japanese CD release, the cover on the right is the UK 10" vinyl cover.
